FAQ

Why charge for this at all?

Sync, budgets, team rollup, and Snapshot infra use a real backend. Polar.sh is how we keep it on.

Will Anthropic build this themselves?

Maybe parts of it. They already have a coarse settings page. Tally exists for per-message, per-project, per-model granularity — and the Snapshot handoff to other LLMs is something Anthropic won't build.

Do you see my conversations?

No. The extension counts locally. Only aggregate numbers (tokens, costs, project labels) sync — never message content.

Refunds?

30 days, no questions, via Polar.

Monthly or lifetime — which?

Lifetime is the simpler choice if you plan to use Tally for more than 10 months: $20 once vs $20 spent on the monthly plan. Monthly is better if you want to try Pro for a stretch without committing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — leave a review on the Chrome Web Store and the extension unlocks Pro for 3 days. One trial per install. Available from the upgrade prompt inside Tally.
